Tejano Tribune Staff Report
The elevators in Building A, B, and C at the Valle Verde Campus will be shut off during the week of January 6 to 10, 2025, according to an email sent to EPCC employees from the Physical Plant Dec. 20. The shutdown will vary in each building as elevator interiors will be replaced. January schedule is set to minimize the impact on students, faculty and staff, according to the email.
"This elevator outage will allow the Physical Plant to modernize the elevators with new interior finishes.
The completion of this project will accomplish second and final portion to renew three elevators at the Valle Verde Campus," according to the Dec. 20 email.
"We ask that all students, faculty and staff plan accordingly to use other means of egress to their destinations. Please do not attempt to enter the elevators during this period," the email added.
