EPCC Faculty Senate to discuss academic calendar changes

The EPCC Faculty Senate is discussing changes for the 2023-2024 Academic Calendar today at the Northwest Campus Library at 3:30 p.m.

According to an email sent out by Faculty President Albert Burnham, the meeting will be discussing and evaluating academic calendar changes, including the change to begin the Fall 2023 semester a week later and the change to shorten the Wintermester 2023 from five weeks to four weeks.

The senators will also be discussing the proposed 2024-2025 academic calendar.

All faculty members were encouraged to contact their senators with their views about the changes, which will be discussed in the meeting.
