STAFF REPORT
El Paso Community College (EPCC) would like to welcome the new Executive Director of the EPCC Physical Plant, James Booher. Booher takes over for the recently retired Rick Lobato, who spent 16 years as Executive Director of the Physical Plant. Lobato retired in May of this year.

A lifelong El Pasoan, Jim is a Licensed Architect with over 34 years of experience in Facilities and Operations Management and major Project Programs, mostly within the local public sector at Ysleta Independent School District and University Medical Center.
A graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Architecture, Jim excels in deploying High Performance Maintenance, Engineering and Sustainability Practices, all in a collaborative, teamwork setting. He enjoys spending time with his wife Susan and daughter Emily, who is a professional cellist residing in Mexico City, and enjoys playing golf and gardening.
The Physical Plant Department is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the buildings and grounds of all six EPCC campuses: Administrative Service Center, Mission del Paso, Northwest Campus, Rio Grande, Transmountain, and Valle Verde Campus.
In addition, the department has responsibilities at three other facilities: Career Training Center, Fort Bliss, Mesilla Valley Trucking.
