At the May 25, 2022, Board of Trustees meeting, the EPCC Board members unanimously approved a second Incentive Pay for EPCC employees who qualify.
This Incentive Pay will be $2,500 for eligible full-timers and $1,000 for part-timers.
The Board again determined that a public purpose is fulfilled by awarding prospective incentive payments to eligible full-time and part-time employees, including in furtherance of employee retention and morale during this historically challenging time, and as an incentive for continued teamwork and dedication of College District employees, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have a negative economic impact on our institution and our valued employees.
· Full-time Faculty & Staff:
An incentive payment (not added to base salary) will be paid in the gross amount of $2,500 to full-time employees who were active on the College Payroll as of January 31, 2022 and remained active on the College Payroll through the date of distribution, on or about July 25, 2022.
· Part-time Faculty & Staff:
An incentive payment (not added to base salary) in the gross amount of $1,000 to part-time employees who were active on the College Payroll as of January 31, 2022 and remained active on the College Payroll through the date of distribution on or about July 25, 2022 for part-time Faculty and August 15, 2022 for part-time Staff employees;

In addition, seasonal, part-time staff and part-time faculty are eligible for an incentive payment if they had a history of working the same “period, schedule, and/or assignment or appointment” (i.e., fall, spring, summer, and/or mini-mesters) over the last academic year and are expected to continue in future seasonal assignments.
PAYMENT
HR and Payroll are working diligently to make the incentive payments on or about July 25, 2022 for eligible full-time employees and eligible part-time faculty, and on or about August 15, 2022 for eligible part-time staff employees. Please note that for all eligible employees, the incentive pay will not be included as part of base salary and is subject to federal withholding deductions.
