The CSA will be hosting its 23 rd annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive event on November 20. For years this organization has helped feed families in need and would like your help to make a change.
The president of the CSA commented on why people should participate and how it is important. The reason why they’re doing this is to help as many families in need because they know how hard it is sometimes to get food on the table.
“We know that there’s not a lot of people out there that can’t afford even just a Turkey.
So, we held this for that reason; because we want everybody to have a good holiday with
their families,” said the president.
This year the donations from the turkey drive will benefit the Pride Center, Al Buen Pastor
Mission, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. With the community’s help, the CSA could make a family smile and enjoy this holiday.
Their goal this year would be to feed as many people as they can and to have more donations
than last year. If the community chips in, they can make a huge change to those in need and give them a Thanksgiving to remember.
If you would like to be a part of the change and help the community, the CSA accepts donations any day of the week and frozen turkeys only on November 20. You may donate at any EPCC campus and if you need any help, feel free to reach out to the people in charge listed on the flyers which could be found around the campuses.
